The Newport Daffodil Days Festival In Rhode Island Will Enchant You

Mark your calendars now, The Newport Daffodil Days Festival kicks off on April 12th and it’s the perfect way to celebrate Spring!

The city of Newport comes alive with more than 850,000 blooming daffodils and numerous fun-filled events during their annual daffodil festival. The celebration will run from April 12 - 21 offering excitement for the entire family.

From the seaside to the city streets, you'll encounter bright yellow daffodil blooms throughout Newport. Bring your cameras, you'll want to catch all of the incredible daffodils wherever you go.

Many festival goers really get into the spirit by sporting daffodil-inspired attire. From the flowers themselves to bright yellow outfits, the streets are saturated with yellow.

Even beloved pooches are invited to participate in the Daffy Doggie Paw-rade. The daffiest dressed dog and human will receive prizes! Be sure to stick around for the after Paw-ty.

Enjoy the Daffodil Stroll and Shop in the Historic Bellevue Shopping District. Storefronts are all decked out for Spring and have plenty of discounts, promotions, and refreshments.

Don't miss the Driving Miss Daffodil Classic Car Parade. The procession will begin at the Easton's Beach Parking lot where classic cars all dolled up in their daffodil finery hit the pavement for a unique Spring show.

There will also be garden parties, Dash through the Daffodils (5K run), a bicycle ride, and more.

To take a tour of Newport's hottest daffodil spots, catch the Daffy Trolly. The ride will take you through the city giving you opportunities to jump out and photograph the flowers.
