Take This Day Trip To The Most Eye-Popping Daffodil Fields In Rhode Island
Despite that recent late season snowfall, we’re starting to see early signs of spring here in Rhode Island. Luckily, that means it won’t be long before the daffodils are blooming all over Blithewold, a regal garden estate in Bristol. Daffodils are often the first flowers to bloom in the spring, and those vibrant, colorful beauties are a wonderful sight after a long, dreadful winter.
This April, head to Blithewold for Daffodil Days, an almost ethereal experience after meant to welcome spring.

The mansion is beautiful, but it's the gardens and arboretums that keep people coming back.

Stroll around and you'll see diverse gardens, trees, and beautiful flowers.

And while the daffodil's season is short, there's no denying it's magnificent.

Other points of interest are Lovers' Lane and Bamboo Grove, which was planted in the 1930s.

This year's Daffodil Days begins April 9, with daily admission until May 16.

Daffodils are like Mother Nature's ambassadors, greeting us and welcoming us to spring.

When you visit, we think you'll agree it was an award that was well-earned.
This year’s Daffodil Days will probably look different than in years past. To learn more about it, check out Blithewold’s site.
