West Coasters Try To Pronounce Rhode Island City Names… And It’ll Make You LOL

Quite possibly the best way to tell a tourist from a local in the summer months is to listen to them try to pronounce Rhode Island city names. This can be a pretty hilarious encounter and a real reminder at just how obscure sounding some of these places are. Lucky for us, some west coasters decided to take a crack at pronouncing some places in Little Rhody and created this video. You’ll definitely recognize the town, but maybe not so much the way they’re saying it.

Though the people in this video didn’t quite succeed this time, we’re certainly glad they tried and gave all of us Rhode Islanders something to laugh about today. Can you think of any other Rhode Island towns that are hard to pronounce?
