Everyone In Rhode Island Should See What’s Inside The Gates Of This Abandoned Amusement Park

Hope Valley is a little village in the town of Hopkinton in Washington County. The central portion of the village was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and its history dates back to 1770. There’s also an abandoned amusement park there that nature has reclaimed, and it’s fascinating to see what remains.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/

Have you ever heard of this eerily abandoned fairytale theme park? Perhaps you have even been. The park brought beautiful memories to local children, and for that we are thankful. And if you’d like to see Abandoned Enchanted Forest for yourself, just check out this fantastic video by Jason Allard:
