World’s Largest Catsup Bottle

This 170 foot tall water tower masquerading as a bottle of America’s favorite condiment was built in 1949 to advertise for the G.S. Suppiger catsup bottling plant. This excellent little piece of 20th century Americana charm was in danger of being torn down in 1995, but the community gathered to form the Catsup Bottle Preservation Group and saved the structure! Today this roadside attraction has made it’s way onto the National Register of Historic Places in 2002!
