West End Architectural Salvage
Not only is West End Architectural Salvage a four-story showcase for antiques and goods salvaged from across the world, but it is a custom furniture shop, gourmet coffee bar and private event venue as well.
You can find everything from stained glass and furniture to salvaged doors and tin panels at West End, all conveniently organized by category in an attempt to make your shopping experience faster and easier. Items are sourced from Minneapolis, New York City, Chicago, England and the Middle East, just to name a few.
Owner Don Short has resorted 27 houses in Des Moines and Marshalltown, and created West End after a successful tag sale following the 12-year renovation of the 100 year old – and 10,000 square foot – Willard Mansion. Oh, and did I mention that they have a show on HGTV, West End Salvage?
