The Dali Museum
Spanish painter Salvadore Dali is known for his distinctive style (we have all seen the “melting clocks” right?), and this beautiful museum is dedicated to showing off his masterpieces and educating guests about the life of the famed artist. The Dali Museum is home to the largest collection of Dali’s work outside of Europe, featuring 7 of his 18 “masterwork” paintings, as well 96 other oil paintings and hundreds of watercolors and drawings. But Dali didn’t just paint—he worked with multiple mediums, and the museum also includes 1,300 graphic works, photos, and sculptures created by this prolific artist. Admission is only $5, and for hours of awe-inspiring appreciation of Dali’s art, we think it’s one of the best deals around.
