T-Coon’s is a cozy cafe where locals gather to eat breakfast, lunch, and now dinner. Owner David Billeaud is Cajun through and through, though he doesn’t like to use the term in advertising for his eatery. Instead, he prefers the term Zydeco, which implies a mix of Cajun and Creole influences exclusive to his specific area of Southern Louisiana.

Billeaud has also created his own seasoning mix for eggs, poultry, steak, BBQ, veggies, fish and boiled seafood, which he affectionately calls “The Stuff.” We hear the coffee is pretty great too, which is pretty important when you’re talking about a place known for their breakfast food.
