In 1973, Rube’s was the first of it’s kind – a grill your own steakhouse in the tiny little town of Montour. For more than 40 years, guests have been cooking premium cut steaks that are aged to perfection over an open-hearth grill.
This family owned and operated steakhouse has become a favorite throughout the decades, and is known for their small-town, friendly service, award-winning steaks, and unique atmosphere and experience. If you’re not into steak, the menu also included Iowa pork, chicken and seafood options as well as a small, but delicious salad bar.
