Cafe Du Monde
The grandfather of all coffee shops in Louisiana, this historic café is open 24 hours a day in the heart of the French Quarter on Decatur Street. Translated in French meaning “Cafe of the World,” this famous cafe was founded in 1862, and is known for its delicious French donuts, beignets, and a to-die for cafe au lait.
The world-famous cafe has been depicted in several novels, films, and has made television appearances as well. Cafe Du Monde is open 24 hours a day, except for Christmas and days when “the occasional hurricane passes too close to New Orleans.”
With eight locations throughout the New Orleans metro area, and Cafe Du Monde coffee, beignet mix and k-cups available for purchase from their website, you can get your fix anytime, anywhere.
