Pennsylvania’s Holiday Wine-Themed Train Ride Is All You Need This Season

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”…got that little ditty in your head now? Sure, the holidays mean plenty of magical moments. But, the days leading up to the holidays can take a toll on us. Even with joyful carols playing in the background, we can certainly become frazzled at all we have to do – from holiday baking to shopping for gifts. Give yourself the perfect holiday gift this year: a few hours off to sip wine and admire the snow-capped (if we’re lucky) landscape as it rolls by on this holiday wine-tasting train ride in Pennsylvania.

Relieve some of that holiday stress when you climb aboard the Allentown and Auburn Railroad's holiday wine tasting train.

Settle into your cozy seat on the lone day the wine-themed train will run: Saturday, December 1, 2018.

The Allentown and Auburn Railroad has teamed up with Weathered Vineyards for the special train ride that requires all riders to be 21 years or older.

Sample five wines as the train chugs around the 4.5 mile train track during the 1.5 hour journey.

When the train stops at the picnic grove, you'll have the opportunity to buy some of the wines you sampled.

Tickets for the wine tasting train cost $32, which includes both the train ride *and* the wine.

Choose a seat in the coach cars or the caboose. Or, if you prefer feeling the cool air, reserve a spot on the open air car.

Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your train's scheduled departure.

Sip wine and get in the holiday spirit aboard this wine-themed train, which leaves the station on December 1, 2018 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m.
