Amish farmers working in the fields. With a population of just under 14,000, Ephrata is tucked in the heart of Lancaster County's Amish Country and is the perfect weekend getaway.
The quaint small town is just about an hour from Philly and 45 minutes from Harrisburg, making it centrally located for those on the eastern side of the state.

The adorable town boasts a long, storied history dating back to its founding in 1732. The first communal community in the United States, the Ephrata Cloister, also got its start here.
