Living in Pennsylvania means we get to experience all four seasons – from the beauty of the blossoming flowers that brighten the landscape in the spring to the pristine white snow turns transforms the state into a wonderland in the winter. For some of the prettiest views in all four seasons, go for a walk above the trees in Pennsylvania.
Stroll through nature at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia, a 92-acre oasis of breathtaking gardens, a shimmering pond, and a tree canopy walk that promises spellbinding views in all four seasons.
Start your adventure at Out On A Limb, the tree canopy walk that sits 50 feet above the ground and tallies 450 feet long. The permanent exhibit showcases the natural beauty of the arboretum.
Bring your camera along to capture the striking views. While you can drink in the views by simply strolling along the path, how about a one-of-a-kind perspective?
If you're not afraid of heights, make your way to the Squirrel Scramble, a massive net that draws daredevils. Lie down on the net for a unique view of the arboretum.
After meandering along the canopy walk, head over to the Fairy Woods, a magical spot where you can create your own fairy house. The arboretum is also home to meadows, gardens, and a swan pond.
Make it a point to visit Out On A Limb in all four seasons. You won't find a better way to admire the fall foliage, for example.
Boasting stunning views and fewer crowds, winter makes the perfect backdrop for a visit. (Admission is usually offered at a discount through the end of February, too.)
