The topiary garden, which is currently open for the season, promises an unforgettable experience. The spectacular garden features 50 specimens of plants, some that date back to 1936. The vast majority, however, were planted in the late 1950s.
Those 50 specimens have been transformed into 20 different shapes, each becoming a unique artistic masterpiece.
As you stroll through the topiary garden, you'll discover spirals, cones, and even pyramid-like creations.
Visit during the Christmas season to enjoy the chiseled reindeer leaping across the lawn. If you're lucky, a fresh coat of snow will sit atop them, adding to the festive mood.
Longwood Gardens promises the perfect relaxing day away from the stress of everyday life with its 20 indoor conservatory rooms and 20 outdoor gardens.
If you want to see all of Longwood Gardens indoor conservatories (20 rooms over a half of a mile) and outdoor gardens (20 gardens that span 3 ¼ of a mile), plan to do a lot of walking and to spend at least the vast majority of the day at Kennett Square.

Visitors are asked not to eat or to drink while visiting the gardens. Instead, stroll over to The Terrace, a full-service restaurant and cafe. Or, if you prefer to picnic, head over to the cozy picnic area, shaded by towering trees, near the main garden.
Smoking is prohibited, at all times, on the grounds of Longwood Gardens.
