Turn Pennsylvania’s Three Rivers Into Your Own Oasis By Renting A Motorized Tiki Bar
Summer is oh-so-sweet but oh-so-short. That means we’ve got to pack as much as we can into the few short months we have beautiful weather. One of the best ways to relax and to enjoy the golden summer sun is floating on a tiki bar. When you rent a tiki boat from Cruisin’ Tikis in Pennsylvania, you’ll set off on an unforgettable summer adventure.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Pittsburgh's three rivers - the Allegheny, the Ohio, and the Monongahela - provide the perfect backdrop for a day on the water with Cruisin' Tikis.
Invite five of your closest friends or family members for a relaxing two-hour adventure along the Three Rivers. (Children 13 and older are allowed on the tiki cruises, as long as they're accompanied by an adult.)
Life really is better on the water, isn't it? The more the merrier, too, right? While only six passengers are permitted on a single tiki boat, you can rent two that can be connected together.
A few things have changed this summer, due to the pandemic, to ensure that your journey is a safe one. You're allowed to bring your own drinks and coolers, and your captain will wear a mask.
You can board your tiki boat near PNC Park (pictured below) or at the Marina and Landing in Station Square, both convenient locations when it comes to parking.
The tiki boats meander at a leisurely pace of between four and six miles an hour. (Life vests are available for all passengers, if you want to wear one.)
You can bring your own food or drop by a local restaurant to pick food up for your ride, and don't forget drinks. If you're bringing alcoholic beverages, you'll have to show your ID.
