Super 322 Drive-In In Pennsylvania Has Been Showing Double Features For More Than 70 Summers
You just can’t beat a summer evening at the drive-in, no matter how old you are or what type of films you like. Going to the drive-in is as classic a summer experience as catching lightning bugs, hurrying to eat ice cream as it melts, and lounging at the beach. Super 322 Drive-In in Pennsylvania has been showing double features for more than seven decades, and it’s definitely worth a visit.
Super 322 Drive-In, in Woodland, may have changed ownership since it first opened in May 1950, but one thing hasn’t changed. It’s the perfect destination for a relaxing, fun summer night.
While the drive-in typically shows first-run films, it’s currently offering the classics (due to the pandemic). If you’re in an 80s’ kind of mood, you’ll definitely want to catch The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles double feature.
The box office opens at 7:30 p.m., and you’ll probably want to arrive early to snag a good parking spot. The first film generally begins around 8:45 p.m.
Before you bag up all of your goodies to bring with you, make sure you purchase a food permit from the drive-in. A food permit, which costs $13, allows everyone in your vehicle to eat the food you’ve brought along.
