Silver Lake Nature Center, a 235-acre natural oasis, offers something for the whole family – from geocaching to activities and classes.

Nestled in the enchanting town of Bristol, the state's oldest town, Silver Lake Nature Center promises the serenity of nature and plenty of activities, if you prefer being with a group.
Wear your most comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to hike some of the nearly five miles of trails that wind through the nature center.
Stroll under a tunnel of trees as you listen to the sounds of nature. Good news: The hiking terrain is flat for an easy journey.
Soak up the sights and sounds of Silver Lake Nature Center as you relax on a wooden bench or search for the geocaches hidden throughout the park. (All are within reach of the trails.)
Join a beginner's kayaking class on Silver Lake or sign up for a Full Moon Kayaking Excursion with other nature enthusiasts.
Get closer to nature's creatures at Silver Lake Nature Center, home to more than 40 different species of animals and plants.
Discover the nature center's numerous habitats, including wet meadows, a bog, a lake, fields, and marshes, and stop by the Butterfly Exhibit.
Visit the Earthship Education Center for a tour or to attend one of the events - such as a Nature Book Club meeting - held there.
Silver Lake Nature Center also hosts summer camps, workshops, classes, and trips.
Explore the picturesque nature center's trails from dawn to dusk daily. The Visitor's Center, however, welcomes guests Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
