Meander Through A Shady Forest Along The 2.9-Mile Nolde Forest Trail In Pennsylvania For An Unforgettable Outdoor Adventure
Much of the natural beauty of our beautiful state looks like it’s stepped from an old-fashioned fairy tale – like the scenery you’ll pass on this enchanting forest trail in Pennsylvania. An abundance of natural beauty – from towering trees to flowing streams – awaits along this picturesque path that’s spellbinding in any season.
Wandering just shy of three miles through Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center, the Nolde Forest Trail beckons hikers and runners.
However, be prepared for somewhat of a challenge along this path that’s considered moderate due to its uphill climbs and sometimes muddy terrain, most common after a rainfall.
Expect to deal with a lot of bugs during the warmer months. Your best bet is to lather on the bug spray and bring it along with you, too. Don’t forget plenty of water to keep you hydrated.
Dogs are allowed on the trail. However, your pup must be leashed, and remember to adhere to “leave no trace.” If you take it on the trail with you, bring it back out.
Once you finish the journey along this forest trail, you might want to explore more of the park. In addition to hiking, it’s perfect for a leisurely picnic and for wildlife watching. Chipmunks, mink, and gray foxes all call the area home.
