The Pennsylvania Orchard That Transforms Into A Halloween Wonderland Each Year

Are you one of those people who would celebrate Halloween all year around if you could? Or, perhaps you just want to soak up every glorious moment of autumn and all the fun that leads up to October’s most bewitching day? Pennsylvania’s bursting with fun fall activities. Like this enchanting orchard that transforms into a Halloween wonderland of pumpkins, hay rides, candy apples, and… a witch’s house.

Enter the magical world of Pumpkinland, packed with Halloween attractions, at Linvilla Orchards this autumn.

Of course, Halloween's all about glowing pumpkins. Pick one — or more — of your own from the orchards' more than 100 tons of pumpkins available for sale.

Then, start exploring the slew of fun, family-friendly activities that await. Grab the kids and get lost in a 2.5-acre corn maze.

Or, if you prefer a slower pace, meander through a hay bale maze.

Try your hand at the fall apple slingshot, aiming at a target of your choice. Or, win a small or a mini pumpkin if you win the pumpkin ring toss.

And, when you need a break, indulge in some fall-themed treats, such as sprinkle-topped candy apples and apple cider donuts.

Then, climb aboard a hayride to the Witch's House, where you'll gather for spooky stories and tasty treats. And, at the end of your hayride, sip a sample of apple cider and roast marshmallows over a roaring fire.

Halloween wouldn't be complete without Pumpkinland's annual Costume Parade, set for October 28 at 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
