10 Undying Habits That Prove You Can Never Take Pittsburgh Out Of The Pittsburgher

Pittsburghers display their pride by wearing the city colors: Black and gold. Oh, and don’t dare call it yellow. It’s gold.

If you live in Pittsburgh, you are a Steelers, a Pens, and a Pirates fan. Despite the fact that we have awesome teams, how could you not be a fan with the camaraderie between Pittsburghers when it comes to sports?

Yep. Pittsburgh’s a Heinz town. Add some Heinz ketchup or mustard to your hot dog, jumbo sandwich, or fries.

A little snow and cold doesn’t scare us. You might just see Pittsburghers shorts, a sweatshirt, and even flip flops in the dead of winter.

Pittsburghers love a good wedding. But what makes the reception so appealing is the cookie table, a longstanding tradition in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
