Share that magic with your own kids – or relive it yourself – with a visit to see Santa. Here are eight unforgettable places to see Santa in Pittsburgh this holiday season.
1. Trax Farms – 528 Trax Road, Finleyville, PA 15332
Santa joins kids of all ages for breakfast and lunch at Trax Farms. Breakfast or lunch includes a fun craft for all. And, of course, you’ll get to whisper your Christmas wishes to Santa before getting your photo snapped. Breakfast and lunch with Santa takes place every Saturday and Sunday through December 17, 2017.
2. National Aviary – 700 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
What’s better than a visit with Santa? A visit with Santa
and an adorable penguin at the National Aviary. Santa and his penguin pal will meet and greet guests each Saturday of the month through December 22, 2017. Snap photos and give Santa your holiday list from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
3. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens – 1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is
the place to be this holiday season. Visit the Winter Flower Show and Light Garden and Santa himself. Santa will be on hand to snap pictures and listen to wishes every day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through December 23, 2017.
4. Peoples Gas Holiday Market – Market Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Santa’s House, undoubtedly the most popular spot at the Peoples Gas Holiday Market, welcomes kids of all ages. Snap a photo and chat with Santa. A five dollar donation, which will go to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, is requested. Santa will be home Monday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Or, stop by Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. or Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
5. Gateway Clipper Fleet – 350 W Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Join Santa and a host of other characters aboard the Gateway Clipper Fleet this holiday season. The Santa Cruise features a dance party, face painting (for a fee), and a visit with the big guy himself. The Santa Cruise sets sail Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. through December 23, 2017.
6. Pennsylvania Trolley Museum – 1 Museum Road, Washington, PA 15301
Santa’s all ready for his annual visit to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum for the Santa Trolley. Board the trolley with Santa for plenty of pictures and laughs on the two-mile ride. Make a holiday craft and indulge in a delicious treat with a cup of hot chocolate. Visit Santa Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through December 17, 2017.
7. Kennywood Park – 4800 Kennywood Boulvevard, West Mifflin, PA 15122
Holiday Lights at Kennywood Park, a holiday tradition for many Pittsburghers, features an array of activities, including some open rides, the Kennywood holiday lights show, and a dance party. Of course, Santa welcomes kids of all ages for photos by the Racer.
