The One Day Each Year Where Every Pittsburgher Is A Little Bit Irish
C’mon, Pittsburghers! Are you ready to be a little bit Irish? Well, you’ve got the perfect chance this weekend. Whether you’re of Irish descent or just love the Irish culture, you’ll definitely want to make your way to Sandcastle Waterpark this weekend for the 27th Annual Pittsburgh Irish Festival.
Embrace Irish culture - with food, drink, entertainment, and a marketplace - at the 27th Annual Pittsburgh Irish Festival, slated for September 8-10, 2017.
The Pittsburgh Irish Festival features a full menu of entertainment, including an Irish Authors' Corner and musical performances by...
Gaelic Storm, Makem and Spain, JigJam, River City Brass, and the MacDonald Pipe Band.
Clap along as ensembles, by both adult and children's groups, dance to traditional Irish music, played by Irish musicians.
Try such Irish favorites as corned beef & cabbage, Irish stew, and Shepherd's pie from a variety of vendors, including McCarrick's, Craig's Fine Irish Food, and Kells Bay.
Of course, you can't indulge in delicious Irish food without also stopping at Flanagan's Inflatable Pop-Up Pub, featuring a Rivertowne Brewing Craft Beer Bar.
Browse the vendor booths at the Irish Marketplace then check out the weekend's other planned activities, including meeting Irish dogs, visiting the Children's Area with arts and crafts, and listening to traditional Irish storytelling.
