Pittsburgh Has Its Very Own International Christmas Market And You’ll Want To Visit
Online shopping certainly has its perks. No lines. Usually no hassle. And, no searching endlessly for a parking space. Sometimes, however, you miss out on a wonderfully charming experience by staying home. Take the international holiday market in Pittsburgh, an annual event where you’ll feel as though you’ve entered a European village. Have a look.
Check off the names on your shopping list when you visit Peoples Gas Holiday Market at Market Square this holiday season.
The annual international holiday market, an ode to the traditional German Christkindlmarkt, boasts more than two dozen vendors.
Nestled in individual wooden chalets, each enchanting shop beckons shoppers with its unique products. Stop by such 2017 vendors as Little Europe, Three Stone Steps (Haitian art), and Old German Christmas.
Stay energized with a delicious treat from Helmuts Strudl, Fabulous Homemade Cookies, or LePetit Chocolat.
Get in the holiday spirit by singing or dancing along to the eclectic array of performers scheduled to take the stage at the holiday market this season.
Visit Jolly Ole Saint Nick at Santa's House. Share your Christmas wishes and get a free photo with a five dollar donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
