8 Harvest Festivals Around Pittsburgh That Will Make Your Autumn Awesome
Get out that autumn to do list! Now’s the perfect time to start making plans for the fall season. Pittsburgh, and the surrounding areas, promise an action-packed season, filled with fun, family-friendly activities. Here are eight harvest festivals around Pittsburgh that are sure to make your autumn awesome.

Celebrate fall at Trax Farms annual Fall Festival. The festival promises a full menu of activities, including hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a three-acre corn maze, a bounce house, a rock wall, and much more. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each weekend from September 30 to October 29, 2017.

Zelienople and Harmony’s Main Streets leap alive with the colors of fall during the Zelienople Harmony Country Fall Festival. Stroll along Main Street in Harmony, where you’ll enjoy live entertainment, tours of the Harmony Museum, and plenty of good food. Zelienople’s Main Street boasts such fun fall activities as pony rides, kids’ activities, and free horse drawn trolley rides. The Country Fall Festival is set for Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 15, from noon to 5 p.m.

Spend a full-filled autumn day at Triple B Farms Fall Festival. Purchase an all-day wristband that entitles you to activities, including hayrides, jumping pillows, a corn maze, the Squirrel Hill Tunnel Slide, and the hay bale jump. The Fall Festival is set for weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October 29.

Go pumpkin picking at Soergel Orchards Fall Festival. The festival features a variety of activities, such as hayrides, face painting, pumpkin painting, games, and plenty of delicious food. Soergel Orchards Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends through October 29.

Tarentum Fall Festival, set for September 28-30, promises a full weekend of activities, including live entertainment, games, and plenty of good food.

Celebrate everything fall at the 64th Annual Autumn Leaf Festival. Slated for September 30 through October 8, the festival features such activities as carnival rides, an antique tractor show, a parade, and a craft show.

Bring the kids to Bedford’s family-friendly Fall Foliage Festival. The two-weekend celebration will be jam packed with live entertainment, a kids’ corner, and plenty of vendors. Bedford’s Fall Foliage Festival goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 7-8 and 14-15.

Spend a few hours picking pumpkins, getting lost in a corn maze, riding a pony, and on a hayride at Schramm’s Fall Festival. Fresh food and drinks are also available. The fall festival is set for October 1 through October 31. Times and activities vary depending on the day of the week.
