There’s Nothing Quite Like This Unique Moonlight Market In Pittsburgh
Sun-soaked days are here again, or at least on the horizon! Before we know it, all the rituals of spring will begin. Farmers markets will open. The baseball season will begin. And, hoards of us will head to Kennywood and Idlewild. Garfield Night Market, a moonlight market in Pittsburgh, is another tradition many Pittsburghers are anxiously awaiting.
Garfield comes alive the first Friday evening of every month, during the spring/summer, with the Night Market.
The market's founders purposefully set the schedule for the moonlight market to coincide with Unblurred, a creative monthly initiative, held on Penn Avenue. The event features art, dance, photography, and music.
Of course, you'll want to save plenty of time to browse the many vendors that participate in the moonlight market. Stock up on desserts, handcrafted items, and other goodies.
