Pittsburgh provides the perfect backdrop for those lazy Sunday afternoon (or any day or the week, really) drives through the country. Stop along the way to browse the plump pumpkins at farmers’ stands. Discover charming little shops and restaurants and enjoy the rustic fall foliage as you hit the open country roads near Pittsburgh.
Travel the tree-lined streets of Route 30 between Latrobe and Ligonier (or vice-versa) for a picturesque drive that will take you past rolling hills, farmhouses, and other rustic scenery.
Drive past the masterpiece of fall foliage splashed across the landscape along the Laurel Highlands Scenic Byway. The 68-mile byway winds past sprawling farms, waterfalls, Ohiopyle State Park, and Fallingwater.
