Undoubtedly one of Pittsburgh's most unique museums, Bicycle Heaven debuted in 1996. It originally served as a repair shop while founders Craig and Mindy Moore, also collected vintage bikes and sold used bicycles.
Among the 4,000 vintage and new bikes at Bicycle Heaven are 17 Bowden Spacelanders, the first fiberglass bike ever produced. Only about 30 of those bikes exist in the world, including the 17 in Pittsburgh.
Commemorate your visit to Bicycle Heaven, a non-profit, with such memorabilia as t-shirts and sweatshirts. Bring your bike in for repair or find the perfect vintage or new accessories for your ride.
