Clarion ALF: The Epic Autumn Leaf Festival Near Pittsburgh You Won't Want To Miss

Still adding fun fall festivities to your calendar? You’ve probably already planned trips to your favorite pumpkin patch, corn maze, and haunted house, right? Well, how about adding an epic fall festival to your to do list? The week-long autumn leaf festival near Pittsburgh features a jam-packed schedule with all the things that make fall so much fun – a parade, scrumptious food, and rides for the kiddos.

Add the 65th Autumn Leaf Festival in Clarion, just 77 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, to your fall to do list. The epic festival runs from September 29 to October 7, 2018.

One of the highlights of the popular fall festival is the Tournament of Leaves Parade, set for October 6 at noon.

So, find a spot on the sidewalk and bring a goody bag for the kids. Some parade members throw candy to the little ones in the crowd.

Of course, plenty of family-friendly activities lead up to Saturday's parade. The kids carnival boasts free games and entertainment.

But, that's just the beginning. Other planned activities include a cornhole tournament, a "cruise-in," a junior Olympics competition, and Karaoke Night (October 4).

And, enjoy some of the entertainment scheduled for the week, such as a motorcycle show and a performance by line dancers.

Festivals are all about the delicious food, too, right? So, check out the many food vendors. Visit the pie and bake sale on September 30. Then, stock up on fresh fruits and veggies at the Farmers Market.
