The shop purchases select books and records during store hours. However, if you have a significant collection you'd like to sell, someone from the shop can generally travel to you.
Discover a treasure trove of used books (and records!) at Amazing Books & Records, open downtown Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, 11:30 a.m. to "18 minutes before sunset," and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (These are winter hours.)
Or, stop by the Squirrel Hill location Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. , and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Winter hours.)
