There’s An Adventure Park Hiding In Pittsburgh And You Need To Visit
Glide past the trees on one of five thrilling zip lines. Cross a narrow rope bridge. And, soar through the sky on a Tarzan swing…all without traveling too far outside of downtown Pittsburgh. Turn an ordinary day into something extraordinary when you visit Go Ape Adventure Park in Pittsburgh.
Treat yourself to an exhilarating adventure at Go Ape Adventure Park. Nestled in Allison Park, the epic adventure park attracts outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
Slip on your most comfortable and sturdy pair of close-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather conditions for your treetop adventure.
Play high in the canopy of trees as you face the challenging obstacle course, split into five sections, that will send chills of excitement down your spine.
Plan to spend between two and three hours on your treetop adventure, where you will trek across more than 41 crossings, including the Pirates Crossing, and soar 440 feet on the park's longest zip line.
Prepare for each of the five rounds of the obstacle course with a cold drink of water, available at the beginning of each section.
Enjoy views of the forest that will take your breath away in this sprawling adventure park that requires guests to be at least 10-years-old and 55 inches tall to participate.
Children between the ages of 10 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or older. (One adult can supervise up to two children.)
Start planning your trip to Go Ape Adventure Park, which opens for the 2017 season on April 1. Park hours vary.
