11 Extremely Weird Things Only People From Philadelphia Do
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that there are some weird Philadelphia habits we’ve all picked up. From our language to the way we eat, there are a couple of traits that set Philadelphians apart. How many can you relate to?
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. I swear, I've heard "next year" every June for the past decade. We might put a little too much trust in the process…

We know the best pretzels come from the wholesale guys who buy them in the morning and sell them on street corners.

Median? Sure. Double park? Why not. The PPA is going to ticket you regardless, so we park wherever we want to.

One time, someone I trusted told me that we were going to go out for Cheesesteaks, and then they took me down Passyunk. Never falling for that one again.

I'm not really sure why other parts of the country even try. If you're not from Philly, Jersey, or NYC, you probably can't make great pizza.

Philadelphians love our history - from City Hall down to City Tavern - and we'll gladly tell you all you need to know about Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross.

I'm not sure how other cities survive without Tastykakes, especially during the halloween season when the Witchy Treats come out.

I'm not sure who coined these phrases, but that's how Philadelphians travel.

We love our city. If you don’t, you’re wrong. Don’t try to compare it to New York. Don’t say it’s dirty or dangerous.
