You’ll Never Run Out Of Things To Do In This Charming Neighborhood In Philadelphia
Passayunk Square is one of the most underrated neighborhoods in Philadelphia. With fewer crowds than Center City and a safer environment than Kensington, the streets around East Passayunk Avenue have experienced some revitalization in recent years, with exciting dining, entertainment and shopping scenes.

It's a neighborhood known for having a diverse group of hispanic, italian, and (recently) millennials.

Some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia are located in Passayunk Square, including Townsend, Le Virtu, Laurel and Sate Kampar. No matter what you want to eat, you'll find plenty of variety and mouthwatering dishes in the neighborhood.

On the far west edge of Passayunk Square, you'll find one of the best music rooms in the city, in the back of a bar called Boot and Saddle. I've been to plenty of Philadelphia concert venues, and the sound here really fills up the room, in a great way.

The Dolphin definitely draws an interesting crowd, and some of the best people watching in Philadelphia occurs here. Though there have been a few scandals here, the history is interesting, for sure, and their dance party nights are the most fun you'll have on a dance floor.

South Philly's singing fountain is an iconic meeting spot, perfect for photo opportunties, and often surrounded by performers. On any given day, you'll hear Sinatra tunes coming from the fountain itself.

Though the Italian Market is in Bella Vista, it's only a short walk away from anywhere in Passayunk Square, and it's worth exploring on any given day for great food and shopping.

The entire neighborhood is full of great bars, from Adobe to POPE (the Pub on Passayunk East), and you won't have to walk far to find a good place for a night out with friends. Whether you want margaritas or want to hang out at a whiskey bar, keep your eyes peeled and you'll certainly find what you're looking for.
With so much to do, Passayunk is one of the best neighborhoods in Philadelphia for exploration and entertainment. If you love exploring the lesser known areas of Philadelphia, you’ll want to read up on The 10 Best Places To Live In Philadelphia!
