The Tiny Town Near Philadelphia With The Most Scrumdiddilyumptious Restaurants
Philadelphia is a foodie city, for sure, but sometimes you want to get out of the busy city and stroll a quiet suburban town that’s completely packed with incredible, mouthwatering restaurants. Collingswood, New Jersey is a fifteen minute PATCO ride from Center City, and you’ll love to spend a day here walking the streets and an evening treating yourself to an unforgettable meal at any of their restaurants – from BYOBs to old fashioned ice cream parlors.
Collingswood is a small town right along the PATCO transit line. It stretches from Camden to Haddon Township.
So far, the Collingswood foodie community has loved the spot and it's earning a reputation for fresh and flavorful food, including a brussel sprout dish that has my mouth watering.
Everything in Collingswood is located within walking distance of the PATCO station, which departs Philadelphia at either 16th & Locust, 12th & Locust, 9th & Locust of 8th & Market. Round trip tickets will run you no more than $6 per person, depending on what station you choose. The train lets you off right at Haddon Ave, and you’ll want to head towards the landmark clock, which will put you right in the center of the best little foodie town near Philadelphia!
