Amalthea Cellars is located in South Jersey, and it's the perfect place for a day trip. They host special events year round, including wine and gourmet food pairings in their Green Dragon Tavern room. They're known for participating in the Judgment of Princeton, where their wines held their own against some of California's best.

Cedarvale Vineyards in Swedesboro is known for their delicious merlot, as well as for the wine-and-paint nights that they host often. This beautiful vineyard is also the perfect place to host an event or party, and they do a fantastic job.

Personally, I am not a fan of fruit wines, but the best wine I've had in years was New Hope's peach wine. They've got a great reputation for producing perfect sweet wines, and you can try their wines when you attend a concert at the charming music venue on the property.
