Most beachgoers find the sandy shores of Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park an ideal place to spend a day, especially during the hottest months of the year. However, if you’re up for a quieter day that includes breathtaking views and leisurely trails, make your way to the quaint Erie Bluffs State Park in Pennsylvania. Swimming isn’t allowed, but the views more than make up for that.

Stretched along 587 acres of forest and one mile of shoreline, Erie Bluffs State Park arguably boasts some of the most beautiful views you'll find in PA.

For the best of those views, head to the top of the 90-foot Erie Bluffs, where you'll be treated to striking views of the blue water of Lake Erie.

Erie Bluffs State Park features several trails, totaling just over five miles, that will take you to the sandy shore. You can even follow each of them for one amazing hike.
