Here Are 9 Types Of People You'll Meet In Pennsylvania... Which One Are You?
Any state that you go to will have its own stereotypes and different lifestyles. Here in Pennsylvania, we definitely have a few unique types of people that make our home different. Here are some of the people you’ll come across in Pennsylvania… which are you?
1. The Penn State Fan
The population of Penn State students in State College outnumbers that of other residents in the town! That being said, you can imagine their passion for PSU is hard to top.
2. The Hunter
Pennsylvania has more licensed hunters than any other state. Considering that we enjoy the first day of deer season off from school, hunters are not hard to come by.
3. The Philadelphian
Known for being a bit impatient and well, rude, the stereotype of Philadelphians pretty much matches exactly what you'll watch in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. In real life, they're not that curt. Just don't get in their way when they're driving.
4. The New Yorker
New York's rent prices are astronomical, and as a result many people who work in the city seek housing in other states. Eastern Pennsylvania is a prime residence for those who commute to NYC for work.
5. Amish people
Pennsylvania has the largest Amish population in the entire country, which is pretty cool.
6. The Main Liner
Polo shirts, casually tied sweaters about the shoulders, boat shoes, pastel colored pants, and you're ready to go. Just don't forget to water the begonias before you leave for brunch.
7. The Mall Rats
PA is a great place, but notorious for not always being that exciting. Droves of teenagers seek refuge at their local malls, where they spend their youth loitering on benches and drinking frappuchinos.
8. The Rabid Sports Fan
Pennsylvania is home to some great sports teams, and considering that we have two major cities-- Pittsburgh and Philadelphia-- we have healthy rivalry going within our state.
9. Taylor Swift
Chances are you aren't Taylor Swift.
