The Century-Old Mansion That’s Decaying In America’s Heartland

It’s crazy how quickly opulence turns to decay. Even though this mansion was built over 100 years ago, its recent abandonment allowed the estate to slide into ruin. Check out this footage from YouTube channel “TheUnknownCameraman” for glimpse inside the breathtaking remains of this historic heartland mansion.

This Pennsylvania mansion was built in 1906. It was abandoned about 10 years ago.

Edgar Scott resided on the estate with his wife and four children. Not to mention his fifteen servants.

He went abroad to fight in World War I in 1917, and died in France.

You can still see how lavish this mansion must have once been. So much has been left behind.

The property was recently purchased for a whopping $2 million. There are plans to turn the estate into a public park. Take a look at the interior of this beautiful, crumbling mansion:
