You Don't Want To Miss This Hot Air Balloon Glow In Pennsylvania

Can you think of anything more magical than a hot air balloon? Just the mere sight of a hot air balloon – floating high above us – can make us feel like a kid again. But, only one thing might be able to rival the magic of a hot air balloon – a hot air balloon glow. Admire the sheer beauty of 20 colorful hot air balloons aglow against the nighttime sky at this hot air balloon glow in Pennsylvania.

Start counting down the days — and there are only a few! — to the 13th Annual Chester County Balloon Festival in Toughkenamon.

The three-day festival, set for June 21-23, 2019, will be held at the New Garden Flying Field and will feature a full menu of family-friendly events.

Of course, one of the highlights of the festival is, undoubtedly, the spectacular balloon glow, planned for both Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, and find a spot to watch as the hot air balloons, more than 20 of them, glow against the darkening sky.

And, on Saturday evening, the balloon glow will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. (If it rains on Saturday evening, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday evening, weather-permitting.)

But, the balloon glow just caps off a fun day of activities, including tethered and non-tethered hot air balloon rides.

Walk through a hot air balloon. And, if you're up for some breathtaking excitement, reserve a spot on a helicopter ride.

Other activities throughout the weekend include paragliding shows, a fire truck parade, and a kids area.

Live entertainment will be held throughout the weekend. And, you can indulge in delicious food from various food vendors.
