Whatever the reason, it’s pretty easy to spot a native Pennsylvania. Here are 15 signs you grew up in Pennsylvania.

1. You wished for snow days but rarely got them.
Sure, school delays and days off are the norm for many school districts in PA after a big snowfall these days. But, plenty of Pennsylvanians can remember when even a few feet of snow didn’t guarantee a day off of school.

Really, you fall into one of two categories. You avoid the grocery store before a snowfall or you join the countless others lining up for bread, milk, and toilet paper…the essentials.

No one ever needs to leave PA, especially snack lovers. After all, we’ve got it all here – Utz, Hershey, Tastykake, Herr’s, Middleswarth Potato Chips, whoopie pies, shoofly pies, Snyder’s, and Turkey Hill.
