Drive Through The Forest Of Lights In Pennsylvania

Remember how much fun it was to drive around the neighborhood on a cold winter evening before Christmas and marvel at all of the twinkling lights when we were kids? It’s a tradition many of us grew up with, and maybe we still go on that delightful neighborhood drive. Today, we also have a ton of drive-thru Christmas light displays we can visit. Forest of Lights in Pennsylvania is one of the brightest and most dazzling.

Turn up the Christmas tunes as you slowly make your way through Forest of Lights at Tall Pines Players Club in Friendsville.

Boasting around 80 dazzling light displays, Forest of Lights measures in at a mile of holiday magic.

Pass such festive displays as Santa and his sleigh, gingerbread people, and sparkling Christmas trees. Don't forget to snap photos along the way, too.

However, that's just the beginning of the festive fun. After your drive, stop by Santa's Workshop to meet the jolly fella from the North Pole.

The kiddos can get their photos taken with Santa, make crafts, and play games. Grab a snack - pizza or a hot dog - and a hot cocoa, for example.

Then climb aboard the Endless Mountain Express, a mini train that will take you along the one-mile path of shimmering lights.

Make it an evening with dinner at the club's restaurant. Reservations are necessary.

Forest of Lights runs on select days from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through December 31, 2021.

Vehicles with up to eight guests cost $25. If you have between nine and 15 passengers, you'll pay $50. (Admission is per vehicle.)
