While the cozy 587-acre state park doesn't allow swimming, it promises a whole lot more and has the largest undeveloped stretch of land alongside Lake Erie in the state.

More than five miles of hiking trails wander through the picturesque park and will take you through an old-growth forest, over a sprawling meadow, and to sweeping views of the lake.

Only hiking is allowed in the park, and park officials request that all visitors stay on the paths to help prevent the destruction of vegetation and erosion of the land.
