Snuggled in Clear Creek State Forest in Heath Township, Beartown Rocks is one of those natural wonders you really have to see to believe - and to appreciate.
Beartown Rocks are gigantic boulders, some the size of a typical home, that were formed by glaciers more than 22,000 years ago. Walk among the boulders on the Beartown Rocks Trail...
A four-mile trail that's rated moderate, due to rocky terrain and some steep climbs. The trail can become overgrown, and you might hit some uneven terrain.
If you're not in the mood for a hike, you won't miss out on the rocks. Drive along Corbett Road, until you hit the parking lot. Once you park your car, you'll only be steps from the boulders.
