A Visit To This Enchanting Oregon Tulip Festival Will Make Your Spring Complete
Spring is finally on its way to Oregon, and we can hardly wait! One of our favorite festivals of the year is right around the corner, and we’re putting it on our calendar. Are you planning to attend the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival?
This year marks the 35th annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, and you'll want to mark your calendar for March 23rd through April 29th.
Stroll down the rows of tulips to see them up close. Look, but don't touch! Bring your camera and spend as much time as you'd like, surrounded by brilliant beauty.
In addition to the tulips, there's plenty going on at the festival. Take a hot air balloon ride to see the tulips from high above. Several balloonists will be there on weekends, some offering tethered rides and others booking full flights.
The festival's website states that the tulips will be a little late this year. One way to watch them grow and bloom throughout the festival is by buying a season pass. Not only will have you admission throughout the entire month, you'll also be allowed to enter an hour before sunrise and leave an hour after sunset, so you can capture some truly gorgeous photos.
To get your tickets online and see more information, visit the tulip festival’s website, and check out its Facebook page to see even more stunning tulip photos.
