Sometimes going on a hike is about simply getting lost in nature. Other times, it’s about making a tough climb for a rewarding view. The Whychus Creek Overlook Trail offers a little bit of both, and as you can imagine, the view from the overlook is phenomenal. Come see why this short and sweet hike is loved by so many.

The Whychus Creek Overlook is located just outside of Sisters.

To reach it, take Highway 20 to Sisters and take a left on Elm Street. Follow that road (which becomes Three Creek Road) for about five miles until you see the trailhead on your right.
The hike itself is only one mile round-trip, and it's a fairly easy trek.

Take the South Trail for the best out and back experience. The more challenging North Trail turns the hike into a loop, but it's quite a bit longer.
The trail winds its way through a peaceful forest before leading you to the overlook.
