This Huge 1,000 Foot Waterslide Is Coming To Oregon… And It’s Awesome

Attention Oregon thrill seekers! Slide the City is coming to a city near you! Measuring in at 1,000 feet in length – this is definitely NOT your average backyard slip-and-slide.

Bend and Portland are the lucky Oregon cities on the list to host this one-of-a-kind experience. Bend’s event takes place Sept. 5. The Portland date is TBA. If you do decide to go, make sure to buy your tickets early, because the price goes up considerably as the day approaches. Tickets range from the early-bird rate of $13 (single-ride) to $55 (unlimited), to $30-$72 the day of. The Portland date has not been announced, but if you sign up for the Slide the City newsletter, you’ll be alerted before tickets go on sale (fingers’ crossed it comes this summer!).

This is going to be a real party with food, music, and swag bags. Oh, and Slide City organizers partner with local charities in each city where the event is held.
