This 0.8-mile hike passes by the White River Falls Power House. Decommissioned in 1960, this winsome stone building now sits abandoned, and adds a unique charm to the trek.
A true testament to the power of Mother Nature, this hydroelectric power plant was one of the first in Oregon, and provided electricity to Wasco and Sherman Counties for 50 years.
