1. Edelweiss Sausage & Delicatessen (3119 SE 12th Ave., Portland)
Fill your shopping cart with authentic German foods at Edelweiss. This incredible German grocery store sells housemade sausages, delicious baked goods, and a wide range of European groceries. Edelweiss is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.
2. BELLA Main Street Market (2023 Main St., Baker City)
BELLA is so much more than the average grocery store. This specialty foods store features locally produced and organic products, daily wine tastings, and an espresso bar with Oregon roasted coffee. The wine selection might just be the best in the Pacific Northwest. BELLA is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Ashland Food Cooperative (237 N First St., Ashland)
Venture to the Ashland Food Co-op for the freshest produce in town. This store is Southern Oregon's first and only Certified Organic Retailer. The co-op is open days a week, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
4. Historic Butteville Store (10767 Butte St. NE, Aurora)
Built in 1863, this is the oldest continuously-operating retail establishment in Oregon. It is now a quaint specialty foods store serving hand-dipped ice cream cones, deli sandwiches, and a small selection of food products. The Butteville Store is open seasonally 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
5. Uwajimaya (10500 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy., Beaverton)
Browse Umajimaya for a renowned selection of over 30,000 products from all over Asia. There are aisles dedicated to sauces, noodles, and different tea varieties. Perusing the aisles in Sundance is always a delight. This unique natural foods store specializes in wholesome, organic, fair trade, and locally made products. Sundance is open daily 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
7. Howard's Meat Center (5717 S 6th St., Klamath Falls)
Howard's has been serving the freshest cuts of meat to Klamath Falls residents for more than 50 years. They have a great selection of meats, including kabobs, gourmet and marinated stuffed poultry, and prime rib. Customers can also have their wild game processed and smoked here. Howard's is open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
8. Newport Avenue Market (1121 NW Newport Ave., Bend)
A trip to the Newport Avenue Market promises to be a pleasant experience. They are known for their knowledgeable and friendly staff members, as well as their wide selection of cheeses, olive oil, and unique ingredients. This charming small-town market is the center of activity in Fossil. You can find just about everything on your shopping list here, as well as a unique array of special items. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
