Rogue-River Siskiyou National Forest might be the most underrated spot around. This epic expanse located along the Southern Oregon/Northern California border is home to some of the most incredible natural wonders in the country. While Coastal Oregon often steals the spotlight, Rogue-River Siskiyou National Forest is absolutely one of the most awe-inspiring places in the state.
Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is a natural treasure and home to over 200 miles of rushing rivers, 324,000 acres of lush forests, and perfect panoramas of mountains, meadows, streams, and lakes.
And you'll get an up-close look at these towering trees, as well as the beautiful Rogue River and its stunning natural features, on the eponymous Rogue Gorge Trail.
This short trek is big on scenery, however. In addition to journeying beside the Rogue River's emerald waters, you'll also get to see a truly wondrous waterfall.
