We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Whether you are looking to the east to Mt Hood or the north to Mt St Helens, you have to admit that we have some pretty phenomenal views in our city.

We have so many beautiful and thoughtfully planned parks throughout our city that truly set us apart.

Whether it is street murals, art, or fountains, our city is decorated well.

We have a vibrant mix of street carts, fine dining, and everything in between, and we support local cuisine in force.

We have the International Rose Test Garden, the Peninsula Park Rose Garden, and every other yard in the city when we need to stop and smell the roses.

The bridges and waterfront help define Portland's downtown, and we are so here to soak up all the sunshine enjoy a walk along the river.

We support local food and farmers and they come out in force throughout the city to sell their products.

We have a lot of top notch attractions to see and do. The Oregon Zoo, World Forestry Center, Hoyt Arboretum, and the Portland Japanese Garden are just some of the attraction at Portland's Washington Park.

We love our green spaces throughout the city and escape to them whenever we can. Whether to walk our dogs, bike, walk, run, or just get outdoors, we are an active bunch in Portland.

No other city (that I know of) can claim a Unipiper like we can!
