Here Are the 4 Best Places To Go Sled Riding Near Portland This Winter
If you didn’t get enough snow when the winter weather whipped through town this past week, head to Mt. Hood for a great sledding adventure. While the snow is nearly gone in Portland, you have a couple more months to enjoy winter weather, and these are the best places to do it.


Snow Bunny has some great hills and will surely entertain both young and old sliders. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids under five years of age.

Epic hills make this a perfect sledding spot. Only tubes and plastic sleds are allowed and a Sno-Park permit is required.

Mt Hood Skibowl has some great tubing hills, and you will enjoy the amenities at this location. Cost is $26 to $59 for adults and $20 to $47 for children.

Probably the most exciting place to sled on Mt. Hood, White River West is a winner. A Snow-Park permit is required and vault toilets are available.
